Elisabet’s love for adventure started young when her mother took her out of school to travel around Europe and Morocco for 12 months. After that she was eager to soak up as many different experiences and adventures as possible.

This led her to work and travel in America, South America and Europe after she graduated from Stellenbosch University and obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Red and Yellow School in Cape Town.

After working as an Account Manager at well-known advertising agencies and later in the corporate environment, as the Marketing Coordinator on K-Way, Elisabet felt it was time to find something more fulfilling.

This decision led her to swap the hustle of city for the champagne air of Hermanus where she would also be close to her partner, Henk Esterhuysen. Since her passion for nature, health and fitness, and working with people aligned perfectly with the See en Sand ethos, it made sense that she joined the team in 2021.

Together with Henk, she assists with marketing, cooking and general admin for all the camps and courses and thrives on spending time in the outdoors and sharing her knowledge with our passionate students.
