At See-en-Sand we fuse nature, adventure, movement, and food to bring you back to your adventurous and confident self. We have curated an experience fit for singles, friends, couples, or families (over 18’s only so that we can enjoy some sparkling wine of course) that aim to inspire you to tap into your inner child and be completely present in nature, and in body.
The See-en-Sand weekend retreat aspires to bring together like-minded individuals and show them some of the best natural attractions that Hermanus has to offer. You will experience the ocean like never before as we teach you to safely navigate ocean currents and the art of cliff jumping, while a coastal forage rounds off our day before we head home to enjoy a delicious, fresh, seafood feast.
Informative explanations of our ocean-based activities (currents and cliff jumping) will be conducted by Henk Esterhuysen, followed by a demonstration with our qualified lifeguards and then the opportunity will be given to those who are interested to experience this for themselves.

Accommodation
The See-en-Sand campsite is situated on the banks of the Klein River, also known as the Hermanus Lagoon. We have 10 rustic wooden cabins, each with a large outside deck, overlooking the lagoon. Each cabin contains a mix of single, double and bunk beds to comfortably sleep up to 5 people.
Each cabin is equipped with basic crockery and cutlery as well as a kettle, microwave oven, and fridge, while full kitchen facilities are available in our large communal kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen are separate men’s and ladies’ ablution facilities.
